Petsense by Tractor Supply in Danville, KY is seeking a compassionate Groom Technician in Training to start a rewarding grooming career through our Paragon program. You will learn hands-on grooming, safety, and dog/cat handling under expert supervision.

The program blends hands-on practice, online coursework, and skill assessments; completion of Paragon Level 2 earns you your own professional grooming toolkit and a clear career path within our grooming team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of Paragon Level 1 certification.
• Comfortable working with dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Patience, compassion, and attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and pet care.
• Perform bathing and grooming support services.
• Complete Paragon Level 2 training requirements within the required timeline.
• Assist with scheduling appointments and customer follow‑up calls.
• Verify vaccination records and maintain client records.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary grooming environment.
• Promote the health, safety, and well‑being of all pets in our care.
• Support store operations as needed.
