Job summary

Petsense by Tractor Supply offers a Paragon grooming training program in which you will complete Level 1 (5–8 weeks) and Level 2 (10 weeks) to prepare for grooming and bathing careers. Trainees use provided grooming tools and complete hands-on practice, photos, and journals during a 15‑week schedule.

Upon successful completion, a complete set of grooming tools is earned, and store tools are provided for use during training. Training emphasizes safety, animal handling, and pet care fundamentals.

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable working with dogs and cats.
• Ability to demonstrate patience and compassion for animals.
• Tools will be provided while enrolled in Paragon.

Responsibilities

• Follow and demonstrate Petsense by Tractor Supply mission and values.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Work the 15 week Paragon training program (Level 1 PT or FT and Level 2 FT).
• Complete Level 1 and Level 2 training tasks safely and accurately.
