Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Grooming Technician in Training to enroll in Paragon Level 1 and complete a structured 5‑week program. You will learn bathing, drying, brushing, nail trimming, and safety practices while assisting customers and maintaining pet records.

Responsibilities include hands‑on grooming, customer service, and adherence to safety protocols to ensure the well‑being of animals in a fast‑paced retail setting at Petsense locations.

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable working with dogs and cats.
• Must provide own grooming tools or be willing to purchase required tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates must be able to read, write and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Enroll and complete Paragon Level 1 training within five weeks.
• Grooming duties: bathing, drying, brushing, and trimming nails.
• Ensure the safety and well‑being of animals and report concerns.
• Maintain records of pet clients, services provided, and vaccinations.
• Assist in generating business by contacting customers and scheduling appointments.
