Job summary

Petsense by Tractor Supply is seeking individuals to enroll in the Paragon grooming training program. The role involves completing Level 1 and Level 2 training, with hands-on practice in nail trimming, bathing, grooming, and dog handling.

Successful completion rewards grooming tools and on‑the‑job practice in a store environment. The position requires flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, and a strong commitment to animal safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable working with dogs and cats.
• Ability to demonstrate patience and compassion for animals.
• Tools will be provided while enrolled in Paragon.

Responsibilities

• Follow and demonstrate Petsense by Tractor Supply Mission and Values.
• Maintain attendance and schedule shifts including evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Participate in Level 1 (5–8 weeks) and Level 2 (10 weeks) training.
• Assist in generating business by calling customers and scheduling appointments.
• Ensure safety and well‑being of animals during grooming and handling.
