Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc is launching an Environmental Services Manager in Training program at a long-term care facility. You will learn to manage housekeeping, laundry, and floor care operations with hands-on and computer-based training to prepare you for leadership in environmental services.

The program emphasizes adherence to policies and regulations while developing staff, scheduling, and budgeting basics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must have computer skills to maintain records and complete reports.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff, effectively communicating directives.
• All other duties as assigned.
