Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is offering an Environmental Services Manager in Training program at a long-term care facility.

The program, 12 weeks long, will develop you to manage environmental services with hands-on and computer-based training. You will supervise housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff, learn compliance with policies and state/federal requirements, and participate in staff development and scheduling while maintaining records and acting as liaison with administrators.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred as stated.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Must have computer skills to maintain records and complete reports.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff, effectively communicating directives.
• All other duties as assigned.
