You will learn to manage an account and oversee housekeeping, laundry, and floor care operations at a long-term care facility through a structured 12-week program with hands-on and computer-based training. The program develops leadership and operational skills to manage environmental services in healthcare settings, with a focus on compliance, staffing, and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Must work around food and cleaning products.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between occupants/administrators and HCSG staff.
