Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. invites you to join as an Environmental Services Manager in Training, a 12-week program designed to immerse you in managing housekeeping, laundry, and floor care at a long-term care facility.

During the paid training, you will develop hands-on and computer-based skills, learn regulatory compliance, scheduling, budgeting, and how to lead a service team within a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must have computer skills for records and reports.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff, effectively communicating directives.
• All other duties as assigned.
