Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc is offering an Environmental Services Manager in Training program at a long-term care facility. This 12-week paid program develops you to manage environmental services including housekeeping, laundry, and floor care with hands-on and computer-based training.

You will learn to supervise staff, ensure policy and regulatory compliance, and communicate effectively with administrators.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Maintain computer skills and ability to complete reports.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Residency within the service area may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff, effectively communicating directives.
• All other duties as assigned.
