Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in EH&S or Environmental Engineering.
• Full-time student.
• US Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident.

Responsibilities

• Apply EH&S principles to improve programs and reporting.
• Attend regular departmental safety meetings.
• Manage Benchmark Gensuite EH&S platform and reporting.
• Review PPE requirements for departments.
• Perform or review job risk analyses.
• Collaborate with hourly staff on safety concerns.
• Learn environmental compliance management.
• Assist with hazardous materials and waste handling.
• Review and refine safety and emergency procedures.
• Support new-hire safety training and orientation.
• Assist with process improvements for EH&S projects.
• Participate in project teams and training opportunities.
• Take ownership of assigned EH&S projects.
