Job summary

Precision Castparts is seeking a co-op student to support our EH&S discipline with hands-on projects and real-world learning opportunities on our Ohio facility floor.

You will apply classroom knowledge to improve EHS programs, attend safety meetings, manage the EHS digital platform, and assist with training and hazard analysis. A housing stipend is provided and potential for full-time employment after graduation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of EH&S engineering practices and regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, NFPA, ANSI, NEC).
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
• Good writing and interpersonal skills.
• US Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident.

Responsibilities

• Apply school-learned principles to hands-on situations to improve EHS programs and reporting.
• Attend regular departmental safety meetings.
• Daily management of Benchmark Gensuite EHS platform for safety and compliance reporting.
• Review PPE requirements for various departments and processes.
• Perform or review job risk analyses for processes and tasks.
• Engage with hourly workforce on day-to-day safety concerns.
• Learn to manage environmental and sustainability compliance requirements.
