Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) is seeking a co-op student in Ohio to support the Facilities/Engineering team with hands-on design and improvement projects.

You will apply classroom knowledge to real-world tasks, gain progressive responsibility, and contribute to equipment upgrades and energy conservation opportunities. You will spend 50-60% of your time in the manufacturing plant, with minimal travel, and receive paid compensation of $25 per hour for a 40-hour week, plus priority consideration

Qualifications

• Full-time student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Materials, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles learned in school to hands-on equipment and facilities design/improvement.
• Accomplish performance goals with progressively increased responsibility in facilities engineering.
• Identify and recommend equipment improvements for specific projects.
• Attend regular departmental meetings and training sessions.
