TW Constructors in St. Louis, MO, is offering a paid internship in design/build construction. Interns will shadow project engineers, managers, estimators, and safety professionals, gaining hands-on experience from concept through closeout.

Responsibilities include supporting schedules, budgets, documentation, and field activities, with travel nationwide possible. Ideal candidates are undergraduate students with a foundational understanding of construction principles, strong problem-solving

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university.
• Experience with subcontracts, subcontractors, or self-perform work is a plus.
• Prior internship or project engineering experience on projects valued at $5 million or more (design-build experience preferred).
• Committed to upholding and promoting a Safety-First culture.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate strong relationships with clients and subcontractors to support project success.
• Collaborate with engineers and planners to develop and maintain project schedules.
• Support the creation of accurate project forecasts and budgets.
• Oversee cost management, change orders, RFIs, and other project documentation.
• Take ownership of project execution and delivery.
• Contribute to preconstruction planning, quality assurance, and safety initiatives.
• Assist senior project managers in overseeing construction activities.
