Job summary

Austin Industries, one of the nation’s largest construction firms, offers a paid 12-week accounting internship from May 17, 2027 to August 6, 2027 at our Dallas, TX (Uptown) headquarters. Interns gain hands-on experience with month-end close and financial health reviews of projects within our ESOP-driven culture.

You will work with the accounting team on reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, and data management, with mentorship and exposure to active project sites.

Qualifications

• Active junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's in Accounting or Finance.
• Target graduation date between Aug 2027 and Dec 2028.
• Ability to work up to 40 hours per week.
• Must be able to commute onsite to assigned location (Dallas, TX).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and review balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare, analyze, and review monthly SG&A allocations.
• Prepare and enter journal entries.
• Scan backups into CMiC ERP system.
