Job summary

Austin Industries offers a 12-week paid Summer Internship Program across multiple corporate office departments, including Construction, Maintenance, Estimating, and Accounting. Interns will work on a defined project while learning Austin Industrial operations and processes, collaborating with departmental teams, and gaining hands-on field exposure.

The program was recognized as a Top 100 Internship Program in 2024 by WayUp and Yello.

Qualifications

Active junior or senior college student pursuing a degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Engineering, or Accounting.
Must possess a 3.0 GPA or higher and be able to work up to 40 hours per week.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to think analytically, present ideas professionally, and work in project teams.

Responsibilities

Assignments vary based on department requirements.
Perform analytical reviews recommending creative ideas that enhance the overall business function.
Assist in daily activities learning different aspects of a business environment.
Participate in a final project that combines book knowledge with real world experience leading to a complete product or process.
Additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
