Austin Industries invites rising juniors and seniors to a 2027 Summer Internship Program across Construction, Maintenance, Estimating, Project Controls, Accounting and more. Interns will work on a project while learning operations and processes at Austin Industries.

This paid, 12-week internship runs May 17 to August 6, 2027, with assignments based on location and opportunities to visit active project sites.

Qualifications

• Active college student (Junior or Senior) pursuing a degree in Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or Accounting.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA and ability to work up to 40 hours per week.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to think analytically, present ideas professionally, and work in project teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform assignments across departments based on project needs.
• Conduct analytical reviews and propose ideas to improve business functions.
• Assist daily activities and learn different aspects of a business environment.
• Participate in a final project that integrates coursework with real-world processes.
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
