Austin Industries offers a 12-week paid Summer Accounting Internship in Dallas, TX. You will gain hands-on experience with month-end close, financial health reviews, and project accounting across our construction groups.

Interns work 40 hours per week and report to the corporate headquarters in Dallas. The program includes mentorship, exposure to real projects, and opportunities to learn CMiC ERP systems and internal financial controls.

Qualifications

• Active junior or senior college student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Able to commit to a 12-week full-time internship and 40 hours per week.
• Willing to work onsite in Dallas, TX and learn through hands-on projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close processes and project financial analysis.
• Prepare, analyze, and review balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare and review journal entries and monthly SGA details.
• Scan documents into CMiC ERP and support ad-hoc reporting.
• Collaborate with accounting team and cross-functional groups.
