Merck is seeking a dynamic Rare Disease Account Specialist to support PAH initiatives in the Central California/Nevada region, including Bakersfield. You will manage key accounts, build relationships with providers, and help drive formulary access and patient support strategies.

In this field-based role, you will collaborate with account executives, coordinate strategic plans, and engage care teams to share approved disease and product information while ensuring compliant, patient-centered care

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in healthcare industry.
• Keen interpersonal skills to influence senior levels and customers.
• Strong presentation and communication skills for complex concepts.
• Strong prioritization skills and ability to contextualize decisions.
• Technologically proficient (e.g., MS Office Suite, iPad).

Aufgaben

• Own the customer experience of all stakeholders within target accounts and build relationships with providers and staff.
• Plans and conducts quarterly strategic planning sessions for key accounts with stakeholders.
• Coordinates the execution of account strategies and tracks progress against objectives.
• Educates care teams with approved disease/product information and supports patient access.
• Collaborates with HQ to plan events and engage thought leaders within the territory.
