Merck seeks a Highly skilled Rare Disease Account Specialist to cover the Central California/Nevada market, engaging PAH healthcare providers and care teams to promote company products and improve patient outcomes.

You will lead cross-functional initiatives, develop account strategies, and coordinate with field teams to secure formulary access. Strong presentation and relationship-building skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years sales experience OR a minimum of High School diploma with at least 10 years of equivalent experience.
• Equivalent experience can be professional sales experience or healthcare/scientific field experience that is not sales related.

Responsabilités

• Account management across target accounts including building relationships with providers and staff.
• Develops strategic account insights and objectives through quarterly planning.
• Coordinates execution of account strategies and tracks progress against objectives.
• Solicits feedback from account stakeholders to better understand needs and build trust.
• Engages care teams with approved disease and product information and resources.
• Supports provider education on product administration and patient access programs.
• Partners with HQ to plan events and establish provider-provider connections.
