Job summary

Mercy Health in Ohio seeks a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for Same Day Surgery - PACU at Anderson Hospital. You will deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care across pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases, while coordinating with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

The role requires an ADN/BSN with current RN licensure, BLS/ACLS or PALS as applicable, and experience in perioperative settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate nurse with an accredited nursing degree.
• Active RN licensure in the state and current BLS/ACLS or PALS as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-op, intra-op and post-op nursing care in the OR/PACU.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to assess and plan patient care.
• Lead patient assessments, prioritise needs, and develop care plans.
• Ensure a safe, therapeutic operating room environment and document care.
• Follow through on discharge instructions and post-op patient education.
