Job summary

OhioHealth's Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Same Day Surgery Center. This full-time day-shift role (32 hours/week) delivers perioperative care across ICU/ED/pre-op/PACU pathways within the OR suite.

The RN provides direct patient care, coordinates with multidisciplinary teams, and upholds Ohio Board of Nursing standards, BLS requirements, and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred after 5 years of employment
• Current Ohio RN license and BLS certification required
• Minimum 3+ years experience in ICU, ED, Pre-Op or PACU

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health status and document findings.
• Plan nursing interventions to achieve patient outcomes.
• Implement and evaluate nursing care and revise plans as needed.
• Contribute to process improvements for quality and patient satisfaction.
• Support operations and perform duties as assigned by supervisor
