Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking an Operating Room RN at Anderson Hospital to deliver high-quality perioperative care. You will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and provide comprehensive pre-, intra-, and post-operative nursing services in a fast-paced surgical setting.

The role requires current RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS where applicable, and involvement in patient safety, with opportunities for CNOR/SGNA certifications as preferred qualifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications preferred; may be required within 6 months depending on department.
• CNOR and SGNA certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment
• Observe the surgery and assist to create and maintain a safe environment
• Manage nursing care in the OR and coordinate with the team
• Provide pre-op, intra-op and post-op care including discharge instructions
