Job summary

Summa Health System, Akron Campus is seeking a registered nurse to provide and coordinate patient care, using evidence-based practice and nursing theory to guide decision making and outcomes.

Requires ADN (BSN preferred), Ohio RN license, CCNE or ACEN accreditation, and ACLS/BLS certifications; PRN or weekend options require at least one year of recent RN experience. This full-time role offers 36 hours per week, on-call duties, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred.
• Graduate of a program of professional nursing that is accredited by CCNE or ACEN.
• Current license to practice registered nursing in the State of Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Provide, coordinate and/or delegate nursing care and manage resources in the delivery of care for patients, families, and the community.
• Utilize knowledge of nursing principles and evidence-based practice to guide patient care decisions.
