Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Plymouth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PACU to join the evening team. The role involves caring for preoperative and postoperative patients, monitoring vitals, and coordinating with anesthesia and surgical staff.

The position requires 2 years in CCU/ED/PACU, MA RN license, and active BLS/ACLS/PALS. Flexible schedule includes Saturdays with on-call responsibility and a 11:00 a.m. – 11:30 p.m. shift. Community hospital setting with union pay guidelines.

Formación

• Requires current Massachusetts RN license.
• Two years of recent Critical Care (CCU), ED trauma, or PACU experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patient status using age-appropriate knowledge.
• Plan, evaluate and supervise patient care.
• Educate patients and families using teachback method.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
• Document assessments and medications in charting systems.
• Communicate with care team using SBAR for handoffs.
