Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 36-hour week with a 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. FLEX schedule and on-call coverage on weekends and holidays.

The RN will assess patients, plan and supervise perioperative and post-anesthesia care, educate families, manage medications and ensure safety, infection control and regulatory compliance. Massachusetts RN license, 2 years CC/ED/PACU, BLS, ACLS and PALS required, with ability to float to PAT and Pain

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN license required.
• Two years of recent Critical Care, OR ED, or PACU experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, mental, and spiritual status of patients.
• Plan, evaluate and supervise care for all patients assigned.
• Educate patients and families about procedures, conditions and medications using teachback.
• Adhere to infection control policies and safety standards to protect patients and staff.
• Complete and document assessments, medications and care in patient records.
