The position requires current Massachusetts RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and ability to float to PAT and Pain Clinic as needed.

Qualifications

• CCU/ICU experience required.
• Ventilator management experience.
• PACU experience preferred.
• Current BLS/ACLS/PALS certification required.
• Competency to float to PAT and Pain Clinic.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, mental, psychological and spiritual status of patients using age-appropriate knowledge.
• Plan, evaluate and supervise care for all patients.
• Identify care requirements and establish rapport with patients and families.
• Provide emotional, psychological and spiritual support.
• Educate patients and families to understand conditions, procedures and medications.
• Adhere to infection prevention, medication reconciliation and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain safe, clean environment and protect patient confidentiality.
• Maintain professional knowledge and participate in ongoing education.
• Collaborate with health care teams to ensure quality care.
