Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks a Clinical Nurse II for West PACU (BIDMC). The 26-bed unit operates 24/7, caring for inpatients and outpatients undergoing various procedures. ICU experience preferred. Schedule: 30 Hours Nights, 9p–7:30a.

Responsibilities include direct nursing care, developing and evaluating care plans, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team. Ongoing education and unit-based competencies are overseen by a Nurse Leader.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program.
• RN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• 1–3 years of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients and families.
• Assess health care needs and formulate a care plan.
• Coordinate care with the anesthesia team and other health professionals.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
• Maintain mandatory education and participate in quality improvement.
