Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a registered nurse to join the perioperative team. Schedule includes 36 hours per week, 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday with call and 24‑hour on-call coverage on weekends and holidays.

The role requires MA RN license, 2+ years of critical care or PACU experience, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and ability to float to PAT and Pain Clinic as needed, with focus on patient safety and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts RN license.
• Two (2) years recent Critical Care (CCU/ED/PACU) experience.
• Experience working with patients on drips and ventilators.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certification required.
• Demonstrated ability to float to PAT and Pain Clinic as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, mental, and emotional status; plan and supervise patient care.
• Maintain safe, clean environment and adhere to infection control and medication procedures.
• Communicate using SBAR during handoffs and document care in ORM/PCS/eMAR.
