Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Burlington, Massachusetts. The PACU RN will assist in recovering patients from anesthesia and monitor them as they wake, with discharge to outpatient or transfer to the floor.

The role requires active RN license, degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS and ACLS certifications, and at least 18 months of PACU experience in acute care.

Qualifications

• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care PACU setting.
• Other requirements set by client facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for post-operative patients recovering from anesthesia.
• Monitor and reassess patients as they awaken and are discharged or transferred.
• Administer comprehensive care including general, regional, and local anesthesia recovery.
