Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring PACU RNs in the Nyack, NY area to deliver high-quality post-anesthesia care. Shifts include day shifts with options for full-time, part-time, or per diem roles across diverse surgical specialties.

Requirements include ADN or higher, active RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and EMR proficiency. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential to ensure safe patient transitions and discharge home.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• 1 year PACU/ICU or similar high-acuity experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications per American Heart Association
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; team-oriented
• Proficient with electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care and monitor vital signs for a variety of surgical patients
• Administer prescribed medications and execute treatment plans as directed by medical staff
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure smooth transition from OR to PACU and discharge
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care, pain management, wound care, and potential complications
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with hospital policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing

• 1 year experience in a PACU, ICU, or a similar high-acuity setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems
