Job summary

Incredible Health is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse in Santa Rosa, CA, to provide immediate post-operative care across a range of surgical patients. You will monitor vitals, manage anesthesia-related symptoms, and coordinate with surgeons and anesthesiologists for safe patient transitions from the operating room to discharge home.

The role requires ADN or higher, an active RN license, BLS and ACLS, and 1 year of PACU/ICU experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher in nursing required or above.
• Active RN license in good standing required.
• 1 year experience in PACU/ICU or similar high-acuity setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; teamwork oriented.
• Proficient with electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care to surgical patients, monitor vitals and anesthesia-related symptoms.
• Administer prescribed meds and execute treatment plans per medical staff direction.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists and surgical teams for smooth OR-to-PACU-to-discharge transition.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care, pain management, wound care, and potential complications.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation per hospital policies.

• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, and potential complications
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and procedures

Salary: $60,000 to $145,000 /year
