Incredible Health is actively hiring a PACU RN in Lakewood, NJ to join a community hospital setting. The role focuses on immediate post-operative care, monitoring vitals, administering medications, and coordinating with surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure smooth patient transitions from OR to PACU and discharge home.

Qualified candidates will have ADN or higher, an active RN license, 1 year PACU/ICU experience preferred, BLS and ACLS, and strong teamwork with EMR proficiency.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1 year experience in PACU/ICU or similar high-acuity setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in Electronic Medical Record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care to a variety of surgical patients, monitoring vital signs and managing symptoms of anesthesia.
• Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans as directed by medical staff.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure seamless patient transition from the operating room to the PACU to discharge home.
• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, and potential complications.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Salary: $70,920 to $117,990 /year
