Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring a PACU RN in Newark, NJ to provide immediate post-operative care across a range of surgical patients. You will monitor vitals, administer meds, and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing teams to ensure smooth transitions from OR to PACU and discharge.

The role offers day and mid shifts with full-time, part-time, or per diem options. A BSN/ADN and active RN license, BLS/ACLS, and EMR proficiency are required, with strong teamwork and patient

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree; active RN license.
• 1 year PACU/ICU or similar high-acuity experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a team.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care to a variety of surgical patients, monitoring vitals and managing anesthesia-related symptoms.
• Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans as directed by medical staff.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure seamless patient transitions from OR to PACU to discharge home.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care, including pain management and wound care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies.

Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Cardiac Monitoring, Circulate, Pediatric, Presurgical assessment, Robotic surgery, Transplant, or Wound & drain care.

Salary: $70,920 to $117,990 /year
