St. David's Surgical Hospital, part of St. David’s North Austin Medical Center, is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to provide immediate post-operative care for surgical patients.

You will manage airway support, monitor neurological and cardiac status, and respond to complications, while coordinating with the surgical and anesthesia team. This role includes on-call availability during select non-business hours and involvement in patient education and wound care during recovery.

Formación

• ACLS and BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN licensure and RN diploma are required.
• Licensed RN with current credentials required.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while applying evidence-based practices.
• Be a key member of an interdisciplinary team including providers and therapy staff.
• Apply the nursing process with critical thinking and scientific judgment to deliver safe care independently.
• Assess patient condition, monitor changes, and document care provided.
• Educate patients and families about the diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
