Job summary

Sierra Medical Center in Reno, NV seeks a Registered Nurse to join the PACU team per diem. You will provide direct patient care across infant to geriatric populations in the surgical environment, and assist with PACU equipment and inventory while supporting performance-improvement activities.

The role requires current Nevada RN license, BLS, ACLS, and at least two years of nursing experience; prior PACU experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Current Nevada nursing license.
• Current BLS certificate.
• Two years minimum of nursing experience.
• ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in PACU for all ages.
• Assist with maintenance of PACU equipment and inventory.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
• Monitor patient status and communicate with surgeon/anesthesiologist as needed.
• Ensure adherence to nursing policies and regulatory requirements.
