Job summary

Mesa View Regional Hospital in Mesquite, NV is seeking a Registered Nurse - PACU for a full-time role. The PACU Nurse will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate high-quality care, and coordinate patient care through collaboration and appropriate delegation.

We require an Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred), Nevada RN licensure, BLS, PALS and ACLS. Two years PACU experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum Associates Degree in nursing; BSN preferred.
• Two years PACU nursing experience preferred.
• Current RN licensure in Nevada.
• Current BLS, PALS and ACLS required.
• Certifications through AHA or ARC must be held.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate high-quality nursing care in PACU.
• Coordinate patient care through collaboration and appropriate delegation.
• Provide age-specific nursing care and patient teaching.
• Monitor physiologic status, document findings and patient responses.
• Interact with multiple departments to plan and evaluate care.
• All other duties as assigned.
