Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, NV is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse for per diem coverage on our PACU unit. The RN will provide direct patient care across the surgical environment, collaborating with surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include pre/post-procedure assessment, equipment readiness, and patient positioning during procedures; candidates must hold NV RN licensure and current BLS/ACLS/PALS, with at least two years of nursing

Qualifications

• Active Nevada RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care to infant through geriatric patients in the PACU unit.
• Communicate with surgeons and anesthesiologists regarding patient condition.
• Assist with maintenance of surgical equipment and pain management inventory.
• Ensure operating room readiness and supply availability for each case.
• Monitor and position patient during procedures as needed.
