Job summary

Northwest Specialty Hospital in Post Falls, ID is seeking a compassionate RN for our PACU/Pre-Op Unit, covering pre-op and recovery. Typical 2:1 patient-nurse ratio with responsibilities including delegation, scheduling, admissions/discharges, and monitoring medicines and supplies.

Required Idaho RN licensure, with BSN preferred. BLS certification is required, and ACLS/PALS must be obtained within six months of employment.

Qualifications

• PACU/Pre-Op unit experience preferred.
• Current Idaho RN license is required.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications expected within defined timelines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Direct and provide professional nursing care in the PACU/Pre-Op Unit.
• Work both pre-op and recovery, manage admissions and discharges.
• Delegate nursing assignments, prepare schedules, monitor medicines and supplies.
