Job summary

Northwest Specialty Hospital seeks a compassionate RN for the PACU/Pre-Op Unit. Per-diem role ~1 shift per week, focusing on pre-op and recovery care with a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio and duties including scheduling, admissions, discharges, and medication management.

Ideal candidates will have PACU or critical care experience, Idaho RN licensure, and optional BSN. Certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS) expected within 6 months. Excellent communication and teamwork required.

Qualifications

• PACU/critical care/ER experience preferred.
• Current RN licensure in Idaho.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and provide professional nursing care in PACU/Pre-Op Unit.
• Work both pre-op and recovery.
• Delegate nursing assignments and oversee admissions/discharges.
