Job summary

Bingham Healthcare in Southeast Idaho is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to provide expert post-anesthesia care for surgical patients. You will monitor recovery, manage pain, and collaborate with anesthesia providers and the surgical team in a fast-paced PACU environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Idaho Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS and PALS certifications strongly preferred.
• Current hospital nursing experience within the past five years or a recent nursing graduate within the past two years.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of post-operative patients recovering from anesthesia.
• Monitor airway, respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological status.
• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments safely and effectively.
