Job summary

Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a Mass General Brigham member, is seeking a Flow Manager for Perianesthesia in the PACU to lead nursing teams, drive clinical excellence, and foster a collaborative, supportive culture in a busy academic medical center.

You will coach staff, oversee onboarding and education, partner with clinical and operational leaders, and help shape staffing strategies that balance patient care with employee wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
• Master’s degree in Nursing or related healthcare field required.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• ACLS preferred.
• BLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of nursing professionals in a fast-paced PACU environment.
• Foster a positive, respectful, and psychologically safe team culture.
• Coach, mentor, and develop staff through ongoing feedback and support.
• Partner with clinical and operational leaders to improve team performance and patient outcomes.
• Oversee onboarding, education, and professional development initiatives.
• Help create staffing strategies that support both operational excellence and employee wellbeing.
