Job summary

The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is seeking an OR Flow Manager to ensure safe, efficient perioperative patient movement from Pre-Op through the Operating Room to PACU or inpatient units.

You will use clinical expertise and leadership to keep cases moving and support teams in a high-volume setting in Boston. Responsibilities include coordinating staffing and resources with nursing leadership, anesthesia, surgeons, and scheduling teams; monitoring the Epic system for accurate OR scheduling;

Qualifications

• BSN required; OR charge nurse experience required.
• Master’s degree in related healthcare/operations preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, collaboration across interdisciplinary teams.
• Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making in fast-paced OR.

Responsibilities

• Lead perioperative patient flow coordinating Pre-Op to OR to PACU.
• Drive efficient OR operations with nursing leadership, anesthesia and surgeons.
• Keep OR schedule moving; anticipate delays and minimize disruptions.
• Plan staffing and resources; monitor budget impact.
• Promote a positive team environment and ensure compliance.
