Job summary

KingRecruitingServices is partnering with a premier Montana hospital to hire a full-time Charge Nurse for the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This on-site leadership role will oversee patient flow in Pre-Op and PACU and guide the perioperative team.

Required qualifications include MT RN license (compact/endorsement eligible), 2+ years PACU experience, BLS/ACLS/PALS, with CPAN/ASPAN certifications desirable. Competitive benefits and a collegial, safety-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Montana (or compact/endorsement eligibility).
• Minimum 2+ years of PACU nursing experience.
• Charge nurse or clinical leadership experience preferred.
• CPAN or ASPAN certifications are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily patient flow across Pre-Op and PACU.
• Act as primary shift leader: manage staffing, schedule adjustments, and problem-solving.
• Ensure compliance with CPAN/ASPAN guidelines and strict patient safety standards.
• Collaborate with PACU Supervisor, surgeons, anesthesia providers and allied staff.
• Mentor and support Pre-Op/PACU nursing and support teams.
