Job summary

You will support the Manufacturing Supervisor, coach operators, monitor hourly status, ensure CIQ is properly applied, and serve as the communication link between operators and management; previous leadership essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to analyze data, define problems, and draw valid conclusions.
• Proficient PC skills with Windows OS and related software.
• Advanced PC skills including Jabil software suites.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and read visuals.
• Ability to follow simple instructions and operate in standard situations.
• Ability to read and comprehend basic memos and instructions.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and interpret graphs.

Responsibilities

• To assist the Manufacturing Supervisor in managing the line and drive operators for machine utilization and efficiency with minimal downtime.
• To highlight to Manufacturing Supervisor when there is high fallout.
• Achieve daily standard set by Manufacturing Supervisor.
• Identify and develop potential operators for proper equipment use and increased throughput and quality.
• Guide and assist operators in required skills.
• Monitor and update hourly production status.
• Monitor CIQ system and ensure it is implemented in the production line.
• Ensure work meets or exceeds all standards.
• Serve as a communication link between operators and management.
