Qualifications

• Ability to present information to groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Operate a PC with Windows and related software.
• Advanced PC skills, including knowledge of Jabil’s software packages.
• Ability to write simple correspondence; read and understand visual aids.
• Ability to follow simple instructions and use basic math.
• Ability to handle standardized situations with minimal variables.
• Ability to read and understand basic instructions and memos.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and interpret graphs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate production operators to meet quality, schedule, yield and productivity targets.
• Assist the Manufacturing Supervisor in line management to maximize machine utilization and minimize downtime.
• Highlight to the supervisor when there is high fallout.
• Achieve daily standards set by Manufacturing Supervisor.
• Identify and develop operators for the right equipment at the right time and motivate for throughput and efficiency.
• Guide and assist operators in the necessary skills to do their jobs.
• Monitor and update hourly production status.
• Ensure CIQ system is implemented on the production line and meets standards.
• Serve as a communication link between operators and management.
