Job summary

Jabil is seeking an Assistant Production Supervisor to support daily manufacturing operations at its Florence, KY site. In this lean environment you will help maintain schedules, ensure quality, and drive continuous improvement while leading production teams and ensuring safety.

Responsibilities include coordinating with procurement and maintenance, minimizing scrap, and guiding staff toward efficiency and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of Quality Control (QC) methodologies and production standards.
• Demonstrated people management and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Confers with management to establish production and quality control standards and data requirements.
• Coordinate production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to optimize processes and reduce waste.
• Review reports to identify nonconformities and improve metrics.
• Communicate goals and performance metrics to team and leadership.
• Organize resources and staffing for smooth production flow.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive process improvements.
• Ensure safety rules and company policies are followed across production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
