Qualifications

• Previous experience in food processing or manufacturing (preferred but not required).
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices (training provided).
• Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs regularly and work in cold or hot environments while performing repetitive tasks accurately.

Responsibilities

• Handle raw materials and perform tasks such as defrosting, hooking, hanging, racking, cutting, stuffing, weighing, scaling, labeling, boxing, and palletizing.
• Load and unload materials onto racks, carts, and conveyors.
• Move products between different temperature areas using carts or racks.
• Prepare products for vacuum processing and packaging.
• Inspect product for quality and consistency, ensuring company standards are met.
• Report any defects or issues with materials, products, or equipment to the supervisor.
• Follow all food safety guidelines, including HACCP, USDA, and FDA regulations.
• Assist with Sanitation processes as needed.
• Record production data, such as product counts and weights if applicable.
• Communicate effectively with line leads, supervisors, and other team members about production or challenges.

Our client, food production is seeking a Packing Worker to join their team. As a Packing Worker, you will be part of the production team supporting the line and packaging operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to follow safety and food quality standards consistently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $18

Shift: 6:00am-3:30pm

What's the Job?
