Job summary

Barlean’s in Ferndale, WA is seeking a proactive Packaging Team member to operate and monitor equipment, maintain clean workstations, and keep production on schedule.

This onsite role runs Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm in a manufacturing environment with emphasis on quality, GMP/GDP compliance, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and documentation oriented processes.
• Willingness to learn Kaizen principles.
• Works well with others.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to process and package Barlean’s products.

• Ensure product quality and compliance with GMPs, GDPs, SOPs, and SQF.

We are looking for a proactive, innovative team player to join our Packaging Team. This person must be able to operate equipment efficiently and effectively while adhering to the run schedule assigned by the team leader.

This position is onsite Monday - Thursday / 6 am-4:30 pm at our Ferndale, WA facility.

Requirements

• Work with a variety of machines that process and package Barlean’s products.
• Keep the workstation clean.
• Maintain a productive workflow.
• Ensure product quality.
• Ensure compliance with all GMP's, GDP's, Barlean's SOP's, and SQF regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School graduate or equivalent preferred. Experience in working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
