Job summary

Quality Harvest Foods Corp in Portland, OR is seeking a dependable Packaging team member for the day shift. You will package finished products, maintain line flow, and prepare cases for shipment. Training is available for the right candidate, and a strong attendance record is valued.

You should be able to lift 35 lbs, stand for long periods, and read/write English. Prior food packaging helps, but is not required.

• Able to read, write, and understand English.
• Food production or packaging experience is a plus; training may be provided.
• Reliable attendance is required.

Responsibilities

• Package finished product into boxes following count and weight standards.
• Maintain the production line flow and alignment.
• Tape, label, and stack finished cases onto pallets for shipment.
• Spot and report any product quality or packaging issues to the line lead.
• Keep the work area clean and organized in line with food safety and 5S standards.

What you'll do

Package finished product into boxes accurately following count and weight standards

Keep the production line moving smoothly by maintaining product flow and alignment

Tape, label, and stack finished cases onto pallets for shipment

Spot and report any product quality or packaging issues to your line lead

Keep your work area clean and organized in line with food safety and 5S standards

What we're looking for

Reliable attendance - your team counts on you being there

Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and stand for extended periods throughout the shift

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures

Ability to read, write, and understand English

Food production or packaging experience is a plus - but we're happy to train the right person

• Monday through Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• Pay: $17.80/hour
• 40 hours a week depending on production schedule
