Job summary

Little Leaf Farms is looking for a packaging line worker to operate scales and sealing equipment, palletize finished cases, and ensure accurate labeling and weights. The role supports a fast-paced lettuce processing line with rotations across stations.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED and must be able to work in refrigerated environments, perform repetitive tasks efficiently, and lift up to 30 lbs as needed. Safety and HACCP compliance are essential to daily duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in refrigerated environments is preferred.
• Ability to perform monotonous tasks efficiently over long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate scales and seal packaging equipment and palletize finished cases.
• Manage the flow of harvested lettuce through conveyor belts and scales.
• Ensure labeling and date codes match with lettuce being harvested for the shift.
• Read scales and check case weights according to customer specifications.
• Stack finished corrugated cases onto wooden pallets.
• Lift and carry up to 30 lbs safely.
• Sanitation and HACCP compliance in processing areas.
• Enter RedZone data and attend daily huddles.
• Rotate to different positions during the shift and meet production goals.
